Privacy Policy

The short version: the text, numbers, JSON and links you put into our tools are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. We use Google Analytics to count visits, and you can decline it.

What happens to what you type into the tools

Every tool on The Archeio — the word counter, case converter, percentage calculators, JSON formatter, QR code generator and sleep calculator — runs as JavaScript on your own device. Your input is not uploaded, stored or logged by us. The tools do not save your text between visits.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from and which devices they use. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and receives information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We do not send it anything you type into a tool.

We use Google Consent Mode. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set unless you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Elsewhere, analytics run by default, and clicking “Decline” switches them off. Google's own use of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The Archeio does not currently show ads. If we add Google AdSense in future, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. This page will be updated before that happens, and the cookie banner will ask for your consent where required. Affiliate links

Some pages may recommend third-party writing tools using affiliate links. If you click one, you leave The Archeio and the other company's privacy policy applies; it may use cookies to record that you came from us. See our affiliate disclosure.

Cookies and local storage we use

• archeio_cookie_consent (local storage, 365 days): remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies so we don't ask again.
• Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga), only when analytics are allowed as described above.

Fonts and hosting

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Children

The tools are suitable for students of all ages and do not ask for personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we don't collect what you type and don't run accounts, we hold very little information about you. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data held about you; for analytics data, Google provides controls including the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
